LÅT: Det går ikke akkurat i ekspressfart når Adele skal slippe ny plate. 19. november kommer den britiske sangerens fjerde album, «30». Selv har artisten allerede rukket å bli 33.

Det har gått seks år siden forrige gang hun slapp ny musikk. Men så er det jo som kjent sånn at den som venter på noe godt og så videre. Tja, den kan like gjerne vente litt ekstra på Adele.

Første smakebit fra den kommende plata, «Easy On Me», er nemlig mer av det Adele gjør aller best: Gåsehudfremkallende, hjertesmerte-pop, proppet med iørefallende melodier, tekstlinjer som treffer deg rett i planeten, og - rimelig selvsagt - fantastiske vokalprestasjoner som får nervestrengene til å dirre om kapp. Du vet, slik både «Someone Like You» og «Hello» har gjort før.

Det er ingen hemmelighet at det har vært opp og ned på privaten for den folkekjære vokalisten de siste årene. For tre år siden skilte hun seg fra ektemannen, Simon Konecki.

«There ain't no room for things to change When we are both so deeply stuck in our ways / You can't deny how hard I have tried I changed who I was to put you both first But now I give up», synger hun med flammende intensitet. Det er ikke så vanskelig å skjønne hvem den linjen er adressert til.

Selv hevder hun at hun nå er lykkeligere enn på lenge. «Easy On Me» er både inspirert, varm og fylt av håp til tross for sitt «blå» innhold.

Det er bare å forberede seg på en alltilstedeværende Adele i de kommende årene.
